LoveReading LitFest is the digitally native, books and literature festival dedicated to celebrating good writing and great reading - built to bring wonderful writers straight to our homes, schools and classrooms.

We are a partnership between the hugely successful team behind the LoveReading portfolio of sites and some of the festival professionals that created LockdownLitFest in 2020. What unites us is a passion for books, stories, reading for pleasure and an ongoing desire to support our treasured authors and readers of today and tomorrow.

Every month we deliver 8 digital events from right across the publishing spectrum.

Thus far we have had conversations with some of our national treasures including the wonderful Michael Morpurgo.

We invited Konnie Huq and Gill Lewis to the festival to talk about Green Reads and their recent books Cookie and the Most Annoying Girl in the World and Gill’s Swan Song.

One of our young readers had the amazing opportunity to interview the fabulous Kirsty Applebaum about her new book The Life and Time of Lonny Quick.

This month we spoke to Ella Risbridger, debut kids author about her new book The Secret Detectives which was inspired by one of our all time favourites The Secret Garden.

Also, an event is now live with the wonderful Brian Conaghan, in conversation about his new book Cardboard Cowboys.

Every month we will be inviting schools to pitch their reading stars to us and one child each month will get the opportunity to read and review a brand new book and speak to the author about it. We know, right…how cool is that!?

All of these events are in our archive for you to enjoy time and time again as part of your annual subscription.

We have events coming up including:

And many many more…

For just £50 per year, you can access all events at your school as many times as you wish. It’s a great way to support reading for pleasure and get children excited about books.
