I enjoyed this book because it's very funny and it makes me curious about Clarice's life.
The book is about an eleven year old girl who is not very good at spelling and dreams about other things that she thinks are more important than work.
Clarice has this cool friend called Betty Moody. She travels the world with her mum and dad going to loads of strange places. One of the reasons Clarice Bean gets into loads of trouble is beacuse she has a really mean teacher called Mrs Wilberton who is really boring and doesn't like dreamers like Clarice.
If you like The Worst Witch or The Twits you will like Clarice Bean, Utterly Me.
