I highly recommend this book for secondary school pupils, parents and teachers.

I really enjoyed this book. My friend’s brother has Celebral Palsy and it made me think about what it must be like as he has been bullied at school too. I liked the way that the author used humour to write about something very serious but it’s also very sad and thought-provoking.

I think that Mia is a great character and she really pushes Billy to be more independent and not let his helper do things for him that he can do himself. Everyone should have a friend like Mia!

The most difficult part to read was about how the adults treat Billy – even teachers. I think that all teachers should read this book so that they can understand how children with Cerebral Palsy might be made to feel.

I highly recommend this book for secondary school pupils, parents and teachers.

A really good book for people in my age range who like sporty stories.

It was a really good book and I would recommend it for children aged between 9 and 12. I would love for the book to have a sequel which showed what Billy did when he was a bit older. The characters are likeable and I particularly liked Mia's character because she stands up for herself. I enjoyed seeing Billy become more confident as he was quite shy at the beginning and wouldn't stand up for himself, but at the end he would. If people like stories that involve sports, they would also like this one and it is also a bit of an adventure.

This was such a good book it was funny but at times sad. I thought this book was uplifting and inspiring. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes funny relatable stories with a moral.

I thought this was a really good book.
It didn’t take me long to get into the story because everything was well explained. It took me in a rollercoaster of emotions from being happy to sad to being excited. I would recommend this book to anyone between the age of 9 and 11 who likes relatable funny books. To summarize this book it is about a boy who has to use a wheelchair because of an illness, he loves football but he always gets excluded and bullied. Will he get revenge?

Billy is picked on by his class mates because of his Cerebral Palsy. When a famous footballer visits the school something happens that changes Billy's life and how he looks at the footballer.

This book is about a boy named Billy who has cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy is a condition which has several different effects, but for Billy it means he can't move his legs. The story centres around Billy's life. A main part of the story is when his class meet and play a match with a famous footballer, but because he can't move his legs, Billy is not allowed to join in. When the famous footballer says the person who scores the best goal will win a prize, Billy asks a school bully to push him as fast as he possibly can towards the goal post so that when the ball is passed to him by the famous footballer he fires himself out of his wheelchair and headers the ball into the goal! Billy wins a ticket to a football match, but something happens which changes his feelings about the famous footballer forever.

The book makes you think about how you treat other people, especially those who have disabilities.

The story might not be for sensitive people. I would rate it 12+ as the language is sometimes coarse and there are some violent and unpleasant parts.

I rate this book four stars out of five. I enjoyed it because it was different to the usual books I read and I was sad when I finished it. I hope there will be a sequel. I didn't award the final star because of the coarse language and violence.

I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

When this book arrived I was very excited. I really like the name of this book and the blurb was good too. The reason I enjoyed this book is because Billy has a good friend and has to make lots of tough choices, so Billy’s friend helps him work through the problems to get to solve some of them. I would definitely recommend this to my friends, thank you for allowing me to read and review this

A book all about football and how someone with a disability shouldn't be bullied.

Billy has an illness called Cerebral Palsy and he is in a wheelchair. He gets picked on by the other boys a lot. He loves football but can't play. His new friend Mia is also in a wheelchair but she is braver and more talkative than him. When a famous footballer comes to visit their school Billy's life will never be the same!
I did enjoy this book but some bits were a bit boring. It said all about how being mean to someone because of a disability was wrong. I hope everyone knows that though. I didn't like some of the names that the bullies called Billy. But in the end Billy is better than them anyway!
