I can’t wait to dress up as Bronte for World Book Day with a cool blue streak in my hair
I really enjoyed Bronte Tempestra and the Lightning Steeds because it was fun to imagine going to knight school. Bronte made me laugh when she was always so shocked at how lazy the student knights really were. Lord Errol and Tonkins were also hilarious because they were always complaining about each other, and they had no idea that they were actually very similar. My favourite part is where Lord Errol swoops into the lab.
This book was a quick read with lots of fantastic illustrations that helped me picture the magical creatures like Lord Errol the griffin and the nibbets. I loved Bronte’s style, and I can’t wait to dress up as her character for World Book Day with a cool blue streak in my hair.
A fun book about a girl knight and crazy animals
This book is about a little girl who wants to be a knight so she goes to Knight school. She gets frustrated with all the boys training to be knights because they're all so lazy!
My favourite part is when Lord Errol the griffin gets trapped in a net and Bronte and her new best friend Tonkins help him escape. The people who trapped him come back to an empty net and get mad.
I liked the scary parts where the cute little animals are turned into frightening creatures with big teeth and they chase Bronte and Tonkins through the forest as they try to find out what had happened to the Lightning Steeds.
This is the first chapter book I have read myself and I loved it so much I dressed as Bronte for World Book Day with a blue streak in my hair and my own ice kitten, Blue.
There are two more books in the series so far and I want to read them all.
