The Magic Faraway Tree: A Christmas Adventure

A very exciting Christmassy adventure, that makes you intrigued as to what adventures will come next. I really enjoyed this book

I have really enjoyed the story because it made me feel Christmassy, because there are three different lands; the land of Christmas, the land of the frozen north and it even went to the land of toys which was in Santa's workshop with all the elves, Santa and even the reindeer. It was really enjoyable, as it was like I was actually on the adventure with Milo, Mia, Birdy, Moonface, Silky and Pippinas. It was really good that they were all helping each other throughout the whole adventure. After the story had finished It made me really think and wonder what could happen next.
I read this book by myself and only needed a few words to be explained, so I think that it would be perfect for an adult to read it to anyone aged four and older. I would recommend this to anyone wanting an amazing Christmas adventure.

This is an amazing sequel to Enid Blyton's The Faraway Tree. However many stars I am given to rate this book with I will still want to rate it over that limit!

This is an amazing sequel to Enid Blyton's The Faraway Tree. It is about three children called Mia, Milo and Birdy who go on a Christmas holiday to a quaint cottage by the edge of the Enchanted Wood. In the middle of the Enchanted Wood there is an imposing tree that reaches up into the clouds called the Faraway Tree. When they scale the Faraway Tree, they meet their friends including Moonface, Pippin and Silky who take them up to the top of the tree and climb the ladder through the clouds into mysterious magical lands. The first land that they find is the Land of Sunshine where anything good can happen but nothing bad ever happens. But not all trips up the Faraway Tree give the children a similarly happy experience!

This book is for an adventurous and creative mind of a child who loves Christmas! However many stars I am given to rate this book with I will still want to rate it over that limit! So since I have been given 5 stars I shall have to rate it 5 out of 5 stars!

A great Christmas story about three children who go on magical adventures together. An imaginative and enjoyable read.

A great story to read aloud. My 7 year old loved it. He really liked all of the characters and it was a interesting and unique story to read. The three children go on many adventures when they journey up the Magical Faraway Tree with their friends, Silky the fairy, Moonface and the Saucepan Man. They visit magical lands such as 'The land of toys' and experience lots of fantastic experiences. It is a perfect Christmas read for children aged 7 to 10 years. It is very well written with great vocabulary choices. The chapters are very long, so sometimes took a while to finish but apart from that, it is a great story that we would recommend.
