A fun, suspenseful story for tech fans
Search for the Black Mirror continues the story of Grian and his mismatched pals Shelley and Jeffrey where The Light Thieves left off. They have escaped The Tipping Point and gone into hiding as the world's most wanted children for supposedly destroying mankind's last hope of saving the Earth. Grian and the gang spend this second book looking for the remaining letters from the mysterious White Rose, who claims to know the only real way to save the sun, whilst trying to evade capture by the authorities and the Proctors. Luckily, the children have an army of animals and unlikely helpers on their side to do battle against the enemy's latest technological weapons. A fun, suspenseful story for tech fans that reminds us of the need to be mindful of the environmental costs of human progress. I'm looking forward to more gadgets and animal capers in the third book.
