This book follows Lenny Lemmon, an ordinary boy, and his best friend Sam. It's Olden Days Day, and Lenny has brought in something special. However, things don't go to plan, and Lenny and his friends have to try and put things right. Will they manage to save the day?
This book was an absolute joy to read, and I had a hard time trying not to laugh. It was full of mayhem and mischief, and I couldn't help but love it. With hilarious illustrations and devious characters, this book is full of laughter and wonder. It's perfect for anyone who enjoys funny books with pesky rats, old-fashioned chaos, fierce competitions, and heart-warming friendship.

Lenny was hoping to win best class, but when his rat escapes there is chaos in the school. I thought this book was really funny and I could imagine it all happening. I didn't want to stop reading. I would recommend this book for the whole family!
