The Light Thieves

A storyline full of fun and frightening facts! An eventful adventure across Babbage in the the History of all time!

The Light Thieves is a perplexing book full of imaginative details set in the future of unbelievable knowledge. Since an unforgettable event that led to the Earth spinning out of it’s axis, Grian and his community in Babbage have been following a world-renowned expert and tech genius, Howard Hansom, who is yet to give his opinion on this life-changing experience. He plans to save the planet from the consequences of the unfortunate tilt which will most likely lead to the doom of mankind!

However, when Grian’s sister disappears along with his Grandad, Grian sets out on a mission with his friends Jeffery and Shelli to save them, where he discovers some extremely dark secrets and some people are in dark-hooded disguises! Things are quite mysterious and when they find out that Grian’s sister is in an area not located, they start wondering for real. Who would you trust to save the world, a billionaire or an ordinary boy?

Reading this book was truly captivating as I watched Grian and his friends uncover the hidden depths of which what actually happened to the sun and world! I enjoyed reading this book because I loved the surroundings which was full of high-tech, conspiracies and unique adventures. I would love to recommend this book to people who are passionate about saving the planet and if you find exhilarating adventures bewitching, this book is for you.

The book is so exciting with so much going on. I couldn’t put the book down.

Grians world has just had a big change in it.

There was a big earthquake and the world shifted to its axis known as a tilt.

The world gets darker.

Grians sister disappears with her Grandad and Grian mission is to save them.

The days are getting darker and where is the sun.

The book is so exciting with so much going on. I couldn’t put the book down.

So many twists and turns.

Who will save the work a boy or billionaire.

A fun quest full of fascinating gadgets

The best thing about this book for me was all the imaginative gadgets and inventions that pop up for the main character and his friends to use.

The story is set in a technologically-advanced future and follows Grian, a young boy and two new buddies on a quest to find his sister and grandad as they seek to understand what is happening to their sun.

It's a great story about family and friendship and also makes readers think about if they can always believe what they see in the media, and whether to trust the big companies who might have their own agendas.
