The Last Firefox was a stunning read, it was full of secrets and had a faint bit of horror.
The Last Firefox was a stunning read, it was full of secrets and had a faint bit of horror. I like how the illustrations are rationed through the story, they really helped to explain it. If I were to recommend this book to a particular type of reader it would be the fantasy seekers and the people who like books with that smidge bit of horror. it took me a few nights to read, one night I couldn't stop myself from reading.
This is an interesting story, that I would recommend to children who like adventures and being outdoors.
This story follows Charlie and his two friends, Lippy and Roo, on a fantastic adventure. When Charlie finds himself caring for a Firefox, he must work together with his friends to protect this secret, however it is harder than it seems. When the Grendilock finds out where Charlie lives, things get a lot more scary...

A unique story about finding your inner strength and fire.
The Last Firefox is a unique story about finding your inner strength and fire. This book is packed with adventures including being chased by a goose, hunting for decorated rocks and a tense final showdown between Charlie and a anonymous enemy. I would give this book a five star rating and recommend it to children aged 8-10.
I am nine years old and read this book alone with hilarious laugh out loud moments and tense lip-biting sentences.
Amazing story and illustrations
This book is amazing I just couldn't put it down. The story is about Charlie who has alot going on with school bullies and things at home. But it all gets even more scary when he's made guardian of a fox cub who happens to be the last Firefox. I love how this book takes you on this adventure to try and help cadno but is Charlie brave enough? One of the best stories and illustrations iv had the pleasure of reading. I love Cadno and Charlie as I can relate with the bullies at school.
