This is a really lovely book.
This is a really lovely book. A book about a Rainbow and colours. The drawings are really nice and will help little ones identify objects and their colours. It will be a delight to read and share.
Absolutely love this!
Absolutely love this! It’s wonderfully illustrated and it’s a great fun way to introduce colours and also how a rainbow is made. Lots of fun, great rhyming and repetition. I can see this one being a real hit and it definitely needs to be on every pre-schoolers bookshelf. Brilliant
A great addition to a child's bookshelf.
'The Rainbow Blots' is a colourful, short and simple picture book for children of one to six years. Written by Carlie Wright, it is part of a series about the 'children' of the rainbow 'mother', and designed to teach the colours of the rainbow in the naturally occurring order. There are many downloadable colouring sheets, quizzes and also a song available on the author's website to reinforce the learning. Illustrated by Victoria Mikki, the story, partly in rhyme, shows us the blots descending from the sky, playing with things the same colour as they are and generally having a good time together until called back home to bed. This is a fun and educational book for little ones, which will spark lots of discussion about the colours of everyday items and when we see rainbows (the blots 'special trick') and also encourage activities like how to mix primary colours to get the rainbow colours. A great addition to a child's bookshelf.
