My Cat Called Red Reader Reviews

My Cat Called Red

It's a lovely story which is easy to read and keeps the reader's attention. On another level, it addresses a number of issues which I'm sure concern many children. I'd certainly recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this story which I think works on two levels. It's a lovely story which is easy to read and keeps the reader's attention. However, on another level, it addresses a number of issues which I'm sure concern many children. I appreciate that this book is for an older child who can read it him/herself but Red's adventures give them a good starting point to talk to family and friends about what happens to Red and Ralph, how it relates to their own lives and how it makes them feel. I'd certainly recommend this book.

This was a amazingly good book. A cat with magical powers. I really enjoyed this book. Maybe your cat has those powers too. Read it to find out.

We enjoyed this book

We enjoyed this book. It definitely reminded us very strongly of Gobbolino the Witches Cat

It is the story of a cat with a very unusual coloured fur who has a few adventures and meets some interesting characters while on the hunt for the perfect home. He also makes a new friend along the way.

The writing is good and probably about right for the age range. I did think though that the illustrations were a bit few and far between for the age range and also weren’t very child friendly.

Overall, a good story well written.
