Your Mood Journal

WOW IT'S FANTASTIC!!!!!

I’m 15 years old and throughout most of my life I’ve struggled with anxiety one way or another. My mum never gave up she made up games, things to help me focus, calm down, and make me laugh. I was diagnosed with borderline Aspergers and severe anxiety at 11. I’ve looked through this book as a child with difficulties and as a teenager starting his GCSE to become a teacher and my overall impression is WOW IT'S FANTASTIC!!!!! There are so many things that my mum did with me like the happy songs (make a playlist) it works!!! I truly wish this book was around years ago when I didn’t know how to explain what was going on in my head and at times still don’t. The different sections makes it so easy to go to on the day of how you’re feeling, the quick activities make it a fun thing rather than oh here we go it’s another homework thing.

I want to be a teacher and reading this I think all teachers should as I’m sure it would have helped them understand me a bit more.

Thank you Fearne for making the hard things fun.

This book is great! I’m really enjoying going through it and doing the activities. It’s making me think a lot about my feelings and that it’s actually ok to have all sorts of different feelings at different times. I think everybody should get a copy of this book to help them.

During this pandemic I have been really struggling with my moods and I am nearly a teenager so I’m getting loads of moods.
This book is really good. I love the characters, they are super cute and cool and I think they help to make the book work.
It’s really easy to read and the way it explains your moods and why and how to deal with them is simple to understand. I’ve been doing the activities as well. I think they are fun to do and they help you to understand the moods even more.
I think this book is really, really great and that all children my age should get given a copy at school.
Loved it!

This book helps you to develop a better relationship with the emotions that live inside you; the good ones and bad.

This book helps you to develop a better relationship with the emotions that live inside you; the good ones and bad. If you are feeling happy, it provides engaging activities to express your happiness. If you are feeling angry, there are exercises to help you find your calm.

I enjoyed the clever concoction of bright illustrations and found it easy to dip in and out of. We all gain from learning more about ourselves, and a good way to do this is through this book. Your Mood Journal is fun and jam-packed with ideas to make you the best person you can be!

Lovely interactive book helping the reader understand moods experienced. Bright and colourful and suitable for all. A great book to work through.

I really love this book. I love how it is split into different sections depending on your mood.

It helps you understand your moods and that it's normal to have lots of different feelings.

The stickers in the book are really good and I like the way it gets you to draw and asks questions.

This book is great for everyone, boys or girls, whether they are having a hard time or not.
