Cally and Jimmy Twins in Trouble Reader Reviews

Cally and Jimmy Twins in Trouble

My favourite part is how the story really transports you into their world, it does a really good job of that and makes you want to read it over and over again.

This story is about boy and girl twins. The boy, Jimmy, has ADHD which means that his parents give him extra attention. His sister, Callie doesn't like it but she tries hard not to show it.

There are different sections to the story, including acting out something, making trouble and their birthday- turning 10! I really enjoyed having the 4 stories in 1 with the same characters.

I liked that they didn't live with their father but they had a Nanny who helped resolve the issues the twins have. I really liked how there are pictures on all the pages. The pictures really describe what is going on in the book.

My favourite part is how the story really transports you into their world, it does a really good job of that and makes you want to read it over and over again. I don’t like how mum's new boyfriend Grant isn’t as nice as you first thought...

Fun and interesting to read. In really liked it.

This was a very good book. There are four different stories about the twins Cally and Jimmy who are 10. My favourite story was Double Digits. This was all about their birthday and they wanted different parties. It was good because they learnt to do things together and separate. Their Nan kept saying funny things too which made me laugh. I think boys and girls would like these stories because they are fun and interesting and easy to read.

A great book of adventures that young readers will enjoy.

A brilliant collection of stories to introduce you to some entertaining new characters. There's four stories in this book and they introduce you to Cally, her twin brother Jimmy and their family. There's humour throughout as Cally narrates each fun-filled adventure.

I think that young readers will be drawn into each storyline and find plenty to laugh out loud about. The layout as four shorter stories will make this book perfect for readers looking to continue to build their confidence, while enjoying a collection of fantastic stories.

A really good book of short stories ideal for both boys and girls. The short stories capture your attention and you just want to keep reading what these twins get up to!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It kept me really interested especially as there were four short stories.

I really love that they show one of the twins as having ADHD. It made me smile a lot.

The characters in the book are really interesting and the stories keep you interested especially as they are short.

Ideal for boys and girls and I would say for readers age 7+.

I think if you struggle to read then the short stories might make this book more manageable for you as you are aiming to achieve a small portion of the book at a time.

You've got to read this! 4 stories in 1!

4 stories in one! I loved reading about Cally & Jimmy. They both like different things and always end up in trouble! You've got to read this!
