I really like how the book not only explained climate change so people can understand and become aware of what's going on around us. It's good to prepare us about what may come in the future if we don't stop polluting the environment and using plastic.
We are all Greta is an awesome read that I would totally recommend to anybody concerned about the earth's current situation.
I really like how the book not only explained climate change so people like me who live under a rock can understand and become aware of what's going on around us. It's good to prepare us about what may come in the future if we don't stop polluting the environment and using plastic. The way Greta is doing this is truly incredible- the emotion that she outs in her speeches and it is totally deserving of her to have this book that is helping to spread the message of climate change and #Fridaysforfuture. That's why this book is great as it informs you of all of these things and simple things on how you can help in your everyday life.
It was also fascinating (and obviously slightly worrying and eye-opening) to learn about China being the no. 1 pollutant but already doing so much to cut back and also about the melting glaciers and all the animals that are going to be destined to die in a few years.
It makes me really sad about everything that's going on, especially the things that have already started occurring and affecting things like the ice melting in the Arctic, leaving polar bears desperate for food and the bleaching coral reefs below the sea that were once colourful beauties and now are just lumps of grey stuff. It's great that Greta's word is being spread and now more people are becoming aware and trying to turn this around get some good results around the world.
This book opened my eyes but also made me quite terrified about what's coming our way...
We should all read this book and do more to save our planet, my mum has a T-shirt that says “there is no planet B”. We should all do more to help, I hope if lots of people follow Greta we can help
I really like this book. It’s full of information, facts and figures about climate change as well as telling us about Greta and how we can help the planet by being more like her. I’ll be taking this book to school and donating it to our library when I’m finished with it so more kids can read it.
The design of the book is amazing, I love the colours and illustrations used.
We Are All Greta is a very interesting non-fiction book which explains to older children what climate change is and how we can tackle it.
We Are All Greta is a non-fiction book, the purpose of which is to explain to children what exactly climate change is and how we can battle it. It starts off by explaining how Greta Thunberg became the role-model for children all over the world that she is and then explains the science behind climate change. It also tells us what changes we can make to better protect our planet from further temperature rise.
I would not recommend it for younger children as the size of our problem can be upsetting and quite hard to understand at times. However, older readers will find this book an inspiring and helpful guide to our current situation, from tips on what we can do as individuals to changes that entire countries need to make and ultimately humankind.
This book is very interesting, and I found myself reading it all in one day.
A great book for older children and teens who want to learn more about climate change.
Greta Thunberg has sprung into the limelight and this book is an in-depth look at what she is campaigning for and what you can do about it. Through this book readers can learn more about climate change, the work already being done and how children can get involved in the global mission to save the planet.
I think that this is a vitally important book that helps to explain in clear and simple language what is happenning and why we need change in order to prevent the effects of climate change. A great book for older children and teens who want to learn more about climate change.
