It's Your World Now!

Barry Falls is the new Oliver Jeffers!

Barry Falls is the new Oliver Jeffers! Every child, adult, girl and boy needs to read this utterly heartwarming picture book about the adventures of life and celebrating the potential of each and every child. It’s Your World Now beautifully conveys three simple, honest messages to children from their parents – the world is full of marvellous things, things won’t always go your way and above all else, I love you so.

Lyrically written with illustrations that are both refreshingly contemporary and vibrantly fun, each page is packed and overlapping with images of animals, landmarks, space, nature and pure wonder. And not to mention that each child and adult featured are diverse and multicultural. All corners of the world are celebrated within its 32 pages, sparking endless joy and possibilities of where your little ones might go and do in life.

A magical book to read aloud, highlighting the importance of love, appreciation and personal growth.

I think that it is the best book of my shelf. It was really good, sweet and caring and has a lot of ideas on how to live your life.

It's Your World Now was the best story yet. I loved the pictures because there were lots to look at and I loved looking for the ladybird on each page. I think that it is the best book on my shelf because it teaches you a lot through the pictures.

There is a lot to learn from this book because it has lots of ideas on how to live your life and the ideas come together to make one big book. It was really good, sweet and caring about our land.

Never before has a picture book bought me to tears, but this one did! Insightful, thought-provoking, bursting with beautiful images. A new firm favourite in our house.

I read this book with my 5-year-old daughter.

It is a truly wonderful book, that is super enjoyable for both parents and kids. We read lots of books and never before has a picture book brought me to tears, in fact, I was actually sobbing by the last page. It is insightful, thought-provoking poetry, raising lots of questions for us to discuss. Each page is bursting with beautiful images which parents and children will appreciate in different ways. It will remain a firm favourite in our house, in fact, I've passed it on to my 15-year-old daughter, to read and think over. 10/10!!

A great book that has some really important lessons about life. It’s easy to read and understand and has some lovely bright eye catching pictures. A lovely book for both boys and girls with big dreams to do amazing things in life.

I really loved this book! At first I wasn’t so sure as it looked quite easy for me to read.

Once I started reading it I loved it. The pictures are bright and eye catching.

The story teaches you three really important life lessons. I’ve read it over and over and love it.

I would say the book is good for both boys and girls and definitely for those who would understand the message it is telling. Younger readers might not understand the lessons but they would definitely enjoy the pictures.

I absolutely loved finding the hidden ladybirds too.

An inspiriring and encouraging positive thinking story for little ones.

I loved all of the brilliant pictures, especially all the animals. There was lots to look at. It was special because the mammy and daddy love the little baby so much and that made me happy.

Sarah (Mum): Told from a parent's perspective to a child, this gives advice to a child (like Baz Luhrmann's Sunscreen for toddlers!) about enjoying life and celebrating being yourself. A lovely story to read to your child, putting all of your hopes, dreams and wishes for them into an eloquent verse and instilling the idea that anything is possible. A definite one to keep reading to your child, letting them know how much you love them and how they can achieve anything they want to if they put their mind to it.
