A thrilling, amusing story which captivates you, making you read until the end. This is a great book for all ages. It deserves 5 golden stars!

An amusing funny story written by Onjali Q. Raúf. The book tells the story of Ahmet (a refugee from Syria) who joins a new school in the UK after escaping from the war. His presence raised interest amongst a group of friends at the school. They later learnt about his unfortunate past, his parents were lost, and his little sister drowned at sea.

The narrator and her friends created a Top secret plan in order to stop the UK gates from closing to future refugees. They also needed to protect and support Ahmet from Brendan the Bully. Will they succeed in their plan?

Onjali Q. Raúf tells the story from a child’s perspective. It’s filled with emotion, action and sadness.

I found this book really funny and interesting, in one word captivating. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down! I would recommend this book for all ages.

My rating for The Boy at the Back of the Class would be 5 glorious stars for a thrilling story!

The boy at the back of the Class is a interesting story written by Onigali Q. Rauf. The book tells the story of Ahmet, a refugee boy from Syria who moved to London and made friends there. His friends then made it their mission to become friends with him and figure out more about him.

However, when one mystery problem appears, his friends secretly go and try to solve it and make him reunite with his family by attempting to visit the Queen.

I found the story funny although if I could change anything, it would make the end of the story a bit more realistic.

I would recommend this book to anyone who like fiction books and I'd rate it 3.5/5

This book is all about empathy and kindness to others. It gives off a good message to tell the world no matter who you are you are human and you matter.

I think overall this is a good book because of the following reasons: it tells everyone to never give up, it also teaches people empathy and that's important (e.g when Brandon the bully took the pomegranate from Ahmets hands).
