Skylar White a children's book illustrator. She has worked with publishers and clients such as Quarto, Oxford University Press, DK, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Sourcebooks, Honest History and Barrington-Stoke.
Recently in 2025, Skylar was awarded as a finalist at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. The stories she gets most excited about are about girl power, the magic of childhood, and adventure. When she's not drawing she loves to make quilts for friends and family, and to get out in the water to surf. She's a Wisconsinite at heart, and went to art school at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Colorado. Now she lives in New York City with her husband Tim, and their cat, Obex.
