Lydia Corry - Illustrator
Lydia Corry is a British illustrator based in Brighton who graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2009. Since graduating she has followed in the footsteps of her mother Sally Gardner and devoted herself to children's books. Her dynamic and rich illustrations are all painted by hand in a mixture of watercolour, ink and gouache.
Lydia Corry studied painting at the Royal College of Art. Her first book, Eight Princesses and a Magic Mirror by Natasha Farrant was nominated for the CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal 2021. Lydia also illustrated Jodie Lancet Grant’s debut picture book The Pirate Mums.
