Hannah George grew up in a house in the woods next door to her cousins and a stone’s throw from the sea. She has many memories of adventure and mischief as a child. Building dams in the mud was a favorite as was rescuing hedgehogs and prancing round like a little woodland pixie.
Hannah began storytelling through small drawings in a series of A6 sketchbooks, which came with her on adventures, and holidays. These books came with her all the way to University in Falmouth where she studied illustration.
Since graduating in 2005 she has continually illustrated for magazines, card companies and publishers.
Hannah has now returned to her childhood home in the woods to make it her own complete with eight chickens and cat called Mr Big. When she isn’t working she likes to run, cook, and dance around her garden.
