Fabi Santiago - Illustrator

Fabi is best known for her picture book Tiger in a Tutu, which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize.

She grew up in the Brazilian countryside where she kept an ever growing pet menagerie, including a bat and four hundred giant snails (some of which ate her books).

Apart from making children’s books, Fabi is a screen-printer and makes contemporary pop paintings. 

Fabi works from her home studio in London, where she lives with a ginger fellow and their family of cats.
