Viviane Schwarz has written and illustrated many picture books which have won awards including two shortlistings for the CILIP Kate Greenaway, the highly acclaimed picture books There Are Cats in this Book and There Are No Cats in this Book. Also winner of the 2016 Little Rebels Award and UK IBBY Honour List nominee in 2018.
The Adventures of a Nose was shortlisted for the V&A illustration Award and her debut graphic novel The Sleepwalkers was nominated for the British Comics Awards. She is also the illustrator of Cheese Belongs to You! and I Am Henry Finch, both written by friend and fellow picture book maker, Alexis Deacon. She lives in London.
