Bruce Whatley - Illustrator

Born in Australia, Bruce Whatley trained in Manchester as an illustrator before becoming an award-winning author/illustrator back in his homeland.

He has illustrated over forty books - some of which are the most popular and award-winninged books in Australia - including The Ugliest Dog in the World and Diary of a Wombat, and several co-written by his wife, Rosie Smith.

Rosie and Bruce have two children and live in southern rural New South Wales.
