Carnegie Medal shortlisted author and illustrator Gillian McClure is the creator of many picture books, including Selkie (A Scottish Folk Tale), Mouse in the House, Flood, We’re Going to Build a Dam and Zoe’s Boat. Gillian lives in Cambridge. From 2010 - 2016 she ran her own publishing company, Plaister Press.
