Emily Golden - Illustrator

Nominee for the Kate Greenaway medal 2011.

Emily Golden Twomey lives and works in Bristol as a freelance Illustrator. She grew up in Somerset and graduated from the Arts University College Bournemouth in 2006 with a first class degree in Illustration. In 2010 she saw her first picture book 'The Loon on the Moon' published by Scholastic. She is inspired by weird and wonderful tales and artists including Aubrey Beardsley, Kay Nielsen and Edward Gorey. Emily enjoys drinking tea, eating marmite and all things nonsensical.
