The Daily Mail Chalke Valley History Festival, Salisbury, is the largest festival dedicated entirely to history in the UK. We have four family weekend tickets for the 29th or 30th June to give away. These tickets allow 2 adults and up to 3 children into the Festival for free on 29th or 30th June, to attend living history activities, listen to the ‘Live History Live’ talks, get access to the stands and stalls, and go to the party on Saturday evening!
The Festival is a unique combination of talks, discussions and topical debates, plus a vast living history encampment, where the very best living historians bring history to life with their extensive knowledge and passion for their subjects. This summer, over 150 talks and debates will be delivered by eminent historians, writers and commentators. Speakers will include: Victoria Hislop, Michael Wood, Mariella Frostrup, Niall Ferguson, Kate Williams, Max Hastings, Neil Oliver, Antonia Fraser, and Ben MacIntyre.
* The draw closes on 14th June 2019. Tickets to the literary talks are not included and will need to be booked and paid for separately.
Please note that this draw is open only for UK residents and is free to enter. We will select four winners who will receive a family weekend ticket. Each family Ticket allows 2 adults and up to 3 children to come into the festival for free on either the 29th or the 30th June The draw closes on 14th June 2019. The winners will be notified as soon as possible.
