"This is a story about being open to getting to know new friends and working together to achieve a goal."
Available in Hardback, Paperback and Kindle from Amazon
This is a wonderfully magical, imaginative tale about a young unicorn and a dragon living in Emerald Kingdom The author uses expressive, descriptive words and lots of alliteration to tell their story. The beautiful, colourful illustrations are a delight. I loved the characters’ cute, charming expressions. Each page has 1 or 2 sentences and a fabulous illustration, perfect for the author’s intended audience! Dan the dragon lives in Cloud City and Fran the unicorn lives in Sparkle Land. Emerald City experiences a big storm and a blizzard carries everything away, including Dan and Fran! They find themselves lost and far from home. At first, both want to find their way home without asking the other one for help. They are proud and independent and reluctant to engage with one another. Gradually, they realize that they need each other and can help each other. Together they face their challenges. They appreciate the talents that the other one has and they see that, by working together, their abilities complement one another. I especially loved all the imaginative aspects of this story, like the food they eat. This is a story about being open to getting to know new friends and working together to achieve a goal. I highly recommend it for children from age 4 upwards.

A beautifully illustrated story with two captivating, mythical characters, Dan and Fran. A story of differences, kindness, co-operation and, ultimately, friendship.... Read Full Review
The story would suit children ages around 6 - 9 but the language is a little tricky in places, although very fun!
This book is beautifully illustrated by Zusana and has an exciting story by Charly Froh. It begins with Dan the dragon and Fran the unicorn, who both think they do fine on their own. They each have their own strengths and that's enough for them. Then one day, a big blizzard blows up in their magic lands and they both get carried away! They both find that they struggle to look after themselves on their own, and when they meet, find they need each other's help to survive.... Read Full Review
