My Storee Synopsis

A vibrant, engaging, creative picture book that offers comfort, hope and inspiration to dyslexic children, as well as insight for their classmates into what it's like to be dyslexic. A valuable resource for teachers, librarians and parents wanting to inspire dyslexic children to engage with reading and writing. The creative design highlights the misspelled words (as if written by a dyslexic) in a bold font and, in test readings, this was shown to improve the reading experience of dyslexics and reluctant readers. Inspired by the real-life experiences of dyslexic author Paul Russell, and the teacher who changed his life and sent him down the path to becoming the writer and teacher he is today.
