LoveReading4Kids Says
From planting seeds in spring, to enjoying a picnic in the summer, wearing your favourite cosy jumper in the autumn, and catching snowflakes in winter, the different seasons are celebrated in this charming, pocket-sized book, and more than that, young children’s experiences of them.
Short poems, like little bursts of colour, accompanied by bright, lively illustrations make this a lovely book to share at bedtime or to dip into while out and about in the open air. The poems all describe experiences little children will know and enjoy, whether that’s watching a bee or fireworks, and they are just right to read aloud and no doubt to learn by heart.
As an added bonus, there are suggestions of things to do each season, things to see, and lists of seasonal words.

About
There Is a Season Synopsis
There is a Season is the first children's book from Kerri Cunningham, also known as Murphys Sketches.
A collection of poems to guide you through each season of the year. It takes you on a journey from April showers in spring, to the frosty mornings of winter and everything wonderful in between.
Celebrating all that nature has to show us and the little things that we can enjoy together throughout the year, it encourages you to get outside and look for and talk about signs of spring, summer, autumn and winter.
You can pick up There is a Season and dive into crunchy autumn leaves or wander through a summer meadow with Kerri's poems and cosy and colourful illustrations that sit alongside each one.

About Kerri Cunningham
Kerri Cunningham aka Murphy's Sketches is a writer and artist from Preston in Lancashire. She lives in a small village with her husband and three children. She has always loved drawing and writing and went to study Fine Art many years ago at UCLAN. In recent years she has used her sketches and writing to bring some joy to people's day via her social media platform - Murphy's Sketches. She writes a column for a local magazine each month called Lancashire Life where she talks about her experiences as a Mum, and she works full time as an artist and writer selling cards and prints.
She loves to spend time outside with her family and is so pleased to combine her love of the outdoors, of making the most of all the little things through out the year and of writing in her first children's book There is a Season.
