For anyone counting down the days to Christmas, this will make a very special adventure in a book.
Five little children, in Europe, the US and Japan, write letters to Father Christmas. Each letter contains their idea for a toy, as well as a special question for Santa. Santa’s replies are included within envelopes, stamped, signed and sealed The North Pole. He sends designs for the toys and a rhyming handwritten reply for the sender too.
These will be a treat for little hands to open and explore, and illustrations showing the children writing and posting their letters and receiving the replies are full of charm – look out for the elves’ footwear on the final spread too!
A happy Christmas gift for young children this is also likely to inspire inventions and even letter writing.
