Billy has cerebral palsy and he' s had enough of his classmates treating him differently. But then Mia arrives and announces a school visit from her uncle: a famous footballer. Maybe being a star footballer in front of his classmates will help Billy prove that he can be just like them. But when even his hero turns out to be just as bad as the school bullies, Billy realises that perhaps he doesn' t need to prove anything to anyone but himself.

I highly recommend this book for secondary school pupils, parents and teachers.
I really enjoyed this book. My friend’s brother has Celebral Palsy and it made me think about what it must be like as he has been bullied at school too. I liked the way that the author used humour to write about something very serious but it’s also very sad and thought-provoking.
I think that Mia is a great character and she really pushes Billy to be more independent and not let his helper do things for him that he can do himself. Everyone should have a friend like Mia!

A really good book for people in my age range who like sporty stories.
It was a really good book and I would recommend it for children aged between 9 and 12. I would love for the book to have a sequel which showed what Billy did when he was a bit older. This was such a good book it was funny but at times sad. I thought this book was uplifting and inspiring. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes funny relatable stories with a moral.
I thought this was a really good book.
It didn’t take me long to get into the story because everything was well explained. It took me in a rollercoaster of emotions from being happy to sad to being excited. I would recommend this book to anyone between the age of 9 and 11 who likes relatable funny books. To summarize this book it is about a boy who has to use a wheelchair because of an illness, he loves football but he always gets excluded and bullied.... Read Full Review
