I Can Be Calm is part of the I Can Be... series. The simple narrative in each book carries an important message: we need to listen to our feelings, acknowledge them, and feel safe enough to talk about and share them with others.
At the end of each book there is a practical exercise to help little ones deal with the emotion and a fun wheel to express how they feel.
Kathryn Jewitt is a children’s book editor and author from the Georgian city of Bath in the South West of England. She lives there with her paper engineer husband, two teenage children, a horse, a cat, a big dog and lots of wildlife. Her other main love, beside children's books, is gardening, as it soothes the soul.
