This is the latest book from Hilary Hawkes featuring Millie, I have read Millie’s Magic previously and was thrilled to see more of the lovely textured illustrations by Andrea Petrlik. The writing is simple and easy to follow, with some repetitive moments that could encourage younger readers to join in. The message of bravery and friendship is a sweet one and there are activities at the end that can help young readers to discover when they are brave in their lives. A nice simple story with a positive message.
