Magic comes into Alfie's life when Stardragon tumbles unexpectedly into his lap. Stardragon is a very unusual kitten who transforms into a dragon whenever scared or taken by surprise. Initially it is only Alfie who sees Stardragon morph from timid, purring kitten to fire-breathing, winged dragon. Alfie's family are very skeptical about Alfie's claims, but Stardragon soon reveals to Alfie and his family that there is magic everywhere.
