A playful game is created by Meeow and his friends Baa, Moo, Quack and Woof who come over to play. Each animal has a chair and Moo also has a green flag. Ding-ding! Choo-choo! Together they create a wonderful train ride in lovely bold pictures and a pleasingly simple text.
French Illustrator Sebastien Braun studied fine and applied arts at Strasbourg University.
He then taught applied arts before becoming a freelance illustrator, first of all for editorial clients in Paris. When Sebastien moved to London in 2000 he developed his illustrations for children and since then has been working exclusively on children’s picture books.
He has a rare ability to combine rich painting techniques with soft and tender observational drawing, perfect for picture books. Sebastien lives with his wife and two sons in London.
