A wonderfully heart-warming and funny story about a little kitten who is desperate to be a ship’s cat. Try as she might she’s ejected from boat after boat by other cats until that is, she finds herself on the biggest and smartest of ships as the happiest ship’s cat in all the world.
In a small fishing town, in an island entirely surrounded by stormy winter sea, a little kitten, alone in the wind and rain, searches for a home. The dark green sea boils and crashes around her and the fish glitter like diamonds in the waves. She sees the boats bobbing up and down in the harbour and knows that she wants to be a ship’s cat. But which has room for a ship’s kitten?
