About

Sandy's Incredible Shrinking Footprint Synopsis

Sandy is visiting her grandfather, who lives near the beach. She and her dog Pepper are taking a walk on the beach when they come across a pile of garbage left by people who were having a bonfire. Sandy is upset. Along comes an old woman whom Sandy knows as "the garbage lady", Sandy is a bit afraid of her but she soon realizes that she is friendly. The woman tells Sandy that she should "think about her footprint" and introduces her to the idea of her eco footprint and the responsibility she has to shrink it. Sandy is impressed with this idea and she runs home to tell her mother and grandfather about it.
