The Sapphire Crystal is an exciting adventure that takes Melina and her friend Lisa into a parallel fantasy world. They seem to have discovered special powers that they must use to help save their own world. We follow them as they try to overcome the evil forces that surround them. The story is full of twist and turns and makes for a terrific read for young adults and would make a good film! Thoroughly enjoyable.

When friends and neighbours Melina and Lisa discover that they have both suddenly developed superpowers, they realise that this is going to be just the start of a fantastic adventure. In another world and another time, things are becoming extremely dangerous for the Gamlyns. One of their number has started to use their power source, the sapphire crystal, to enhance their own personal power and extend their evil influence to planet Earth. Spirited away to this other world, the girls are tasked with helping the Gamlyns to restore the status quo before being returned home with all memory of recent events removed.... Read Full Review
