Compelling and emotional this is a must read for every teenage girl. Life is so precious that living life to the full is an important lesson to learn and certainly Livia shows how to do that. With her new life in New York can love blossom for her there?
A real page-turner and definitely a book that will be read in a single sitting.
Livia is starting a new chapter in her life. She has been ill with leukemia for most of her teen years and, as she heads out to America to visit her brother Jeff. She's had a lot of time to think about love - but her observations, theories, previous crushes and boyfriends all pale in comparison to what she finds in New York.
Kate le Vann was born in Doncaster and lives in London. She has written for newspapers and magazines, including CosmoGIRL!, Vogue, Company and The Big Issue, and is the author of two novels for adults, Trailers and Bad Timing, published by Viking Press. This is her first novel for teenagers.
She has recently taken up sculpture and although everyone laughs at it, her sculpture of a giant foot is actually good.
