A touching story about a special and unusual friendship. When Wanda meets Alien they click as friends immediately even though they don’t speak the same language. They play happily together sharing adventures and having fun. But where have Wanda’s friends gone? When they re-appear, Wanda introduces Alien and they soon find that being different is not a barrier to friendship. Bold illustrations make this a vibrant picture book with a great theme.
What would you do if you found an alien? Would you run screaming and try and scare him away? Or would you show him all the best things to do? In this lovely story about accepting differences and sharing, Wanda and the alien become best friends. But where are all of Wanda's friends? Can you find them? They can't have gone far!
Wanda and the Alien has been made into an animated series and is shown on Channel 5's Milkshake.
