Little Archie is a hugely popular picture book character and deservedly so. Children will recognise themselves in him and in the way he responds to everyday situations and the stories provide lots of opportunities for discussion as well as lots to laugh about. Christmas is coming and understandably Archie is very excited, but his efforts to make everything as Christmassy as possible end in chaos, with an upturned tree and all the present labels mixed up. Fortunately everything is put right in the end and Archie and his family enjoy a lovely Christmas. The illustrations are as warm and embracing as the text and this is another excellent book to share. ~ Andrea Reece
