Daisy is friends with everyone on her street, but her neighbours never talk to each other. So when old Mr Hofmeister hurts his back and can’t dig his garden, it’s up to Daisy to come up with a plan. Her solution is to organise a digging party – with tea and cakes. Everyone comes, everyone makes friends, and her neighbours’ lives are all changed for the better.
