In this, the second book in this fun and friendly series, Cass and her friends in the Bubble Street Gang are back!
Just as Cass begins to investigate the new boy in school (who just happens to be invisible), fellow club member Nicholas needs help. He's desperate to attend an after school costume masterclass but just doesn't have the money. Cass soon comes up with a cunning plan to help her friend out of the doldrums. They'll start a company and become millionaires! How hard can it be?
Before long they're embarking on various escapades to try and raise the vital funds that Nicholas needs, all the while Cass is trying to get to the bottom of the mystery of the invisible boy. This fun, lively story shows just how far hard work and determination can take us and that friends can be found in the most unlikely of places. Just perfect for newly independent readers, the hilarious antics of the Bubble Street Gang will certainly delight young readers. ~ Shelley Fallows
A Piece of Passion from Editor Helen Carr for the first book in the series, The Clubhouse Mystery : I really enjoyed working on The Clubhouse Mystery, the first in the Cass and the Bubble Street Gang series. It’s always great to see a new series develop, as characters and settings are introduced, and in feisty Cass Okara, Erika McGann has created a really funny, lovable heroine with a distinctive voice. Cass is confident and unsquashable, and along with her friends, Lex and Nicholas, determined to have adventures, solve mysteries and generally live life to the full. Another really enjoyable aspect of the series was watching Erika’s characters come to life on the page in Vince Reid’s witty illustrations. I’m delighted with how the book came together and hope that Cass will find loads of fans when the book is released.

Erika McGann Press Reviews
Perfect for younger readers who are confidently reading alone, this traditional-style mystery story is great fun, enhanced by the lively illustrative material -- Parents in Touch
Erika McGann's new series is as lively and quick-witted as its central character Cass Okara, founder of the Bubble Street Gang ... Cass is exactly the kind of person you'd want leading your gang or as a friend. She has the best ideas, is very funny indeed and never lets anything get her down. This is a hugely entertaining read, full of the kind of adventure that all children could see themselves having, and featuring a great cast of interesting characters. Nice to see too that it's not just youngsters who get up to mischief with their friends ... There's a great deal of fun and action packed into a short extent, and the chatty, direct voice McGann gives Cass keeps the pages turning nicely. Illustrations by Vince Reid add to the appeal... it's a feel good read full of nostalgia of my own childhood clubhouse -- Nayu's Reading Corner
Erika McGann's mystery moves at a swift pace and has enough action and laughs to keep a young reader engaged ... the illustrations by Vince Reid are playful and enhance the narrative by capturing the relative scene beautifully InTouch Magazine
full of fun, adventure and friendship Evening Echo
lively and funny ... witty and appealing, peopled by characters who jump off the page ... Erika McGann's strong ear for dialogue makes for utterly believable children, and Vince Reid's expressive and witty illustrations do justice to the sharp and humourous text ... a lovely introduction which will have its young readers eagerly awaiting the next adventure Inis Magazine

About Erika McGann
The World Book Day Ireland 2015 Author Erika McGann was the winner of the Waverton Good Read Children's Prize 2014 for The Demon Notebook, the first in her magical series about Grace and her four friends. She lives in Dublin in her own secret clubhouse (which is actually an apartment) and spends her time solving mysteries and having brilliant adventures (well, she writes about them anyway). She likes cold weather (because it’s an excuse to drink hot chocolate by the gallon) and cheesy jokes (because cheesy jokes are always funny, even when they’re not funny).
