The Elves and the Shoemaker is an absolutely gorgeous retelling of the Grimm Brothers classic tale complete with the most exquisite illustrations we’ve seen for a very long while. You’ll marvel at the colours and the intricacies of each and every shoe and the moving storyline. Beware though; there is a downside to this book in that it is guaranteed to make your toddler a shoe fanatic from a very early age!
As a child Lucy wrote stories and poems, directed several plays (starring her sisters) and enjoyed making magic potions out of household goods. She studied English Literature at University and now lives in Wales near the sea where she writes and works.
