This bright, busy book – the text delivered via an irresistible bouncy rhyme – presents children with lots to look at, and lots to think about too. The story is told by a parent, who excitedly details all the world has to offer, and all the potential for children to find happiness and fulfilment as they grow up. There are warnings too that it’s not always easy, but that’s followed by the reassuring reminder that whatever happens, one thing won’t change: from your head down to you toe, no matter what/ I love you so. The artwork is contemporary but the message is timeless and it’s an excellent book for parent and child to share.

I think that it is the best book of my shelf. It was really good, sweet and caring and has a lot of ideas on how to live your life.
It's Your World Now was the best story yet. I loved the pictures because there were lots to look at and I loved looking for the ladybird on each page. I think that it is the best book on my shelf because it teaches you a lot through the pictures.

Never before has a picture book bought me to tears, but this one did! Insightful, thought-provoking, bursting with beautiful images. A new firm favourite in our house.
I read this book with my 5-year-old daughter.
It is a truly wonderful book, that is super enjoyable for both parents and kids. We read lots of books and never before has a picture book brought me to tears, in fact, I was actually sobbing by the last page. It is insightful, thought-provoking poetry, raising lots of questions for us to discuss. Each page is bursting with beautiful images which parents and children will appreciate in different ways. It will remain a firm favourite in our house, in fact, I've passed it on to my 15-year-old daughter, to read and think over.... Read Full Review
