Frog is happy and he wants to share his happiness with everyone else but when he hops off his lily pad to find someone to share it with no one is interested. The birds ignore him, so do the bees and the rabbits, and fox tries to eat him. So feeling all sad he hops onto a floating cloud. Darkness falls and lightning strikes and splash he ends up back on his lily pad and there on his lily pad sits another frog. Both of them are very hoppy or maybe that’s happy.
Froggy is one hoppy frog! In fact, he's so hoppy he wants to share the feeling with the whole wide world. But what's this? No-one else wants to be hoppy? Poor Froggy! Until, that is, he meets one special person...
Alan Durant is the author of books for a wide age-range, from
picture books such as Burger Boy to top-end teenage thrillers. He also
writes prize-winning poetry. Having worked as a copywriter at Walker
Books, he is now a full-time author. He’s married, with three children
and lives just outside London. He does a lot of school visits
throughout the UK and abroad and also runs writing workshops.
Sue Mason is a UK based illustrator specialising in children's books. She lives in London, and works from a studio in a converted chocolate factory just around the corner. Her work includes hand drawn and digital elements.
