John Gribbin is a well known and highly respected science writer, broadcaster and journalist, who recently contributed to Melvyn Bragg's On Giants' Shoulders. Mary Gribbin studied psychology and teaches young people with special needs. They have co-written several children's books, as well as the Scientists in 90 minutes series (Constable).Their book 'What's the Big Idea?: Time and the Universe' was the winner of the TES Information Book Award.
Mary Gribbin was educated at the University of Sussex. She has written for New Scientist and the Guardian, and has worked with her husband John on more than ten books, as well as several others herself.
