No-one expected team Triple Trouble to do well in the Dungeon Runners trial, required viewing for everyone in the land of Zerb, but together our young heroes, gnorfs Kit and Sandy (half gnome, half dwarf) and vegan vampire Thorn got through and now they’re officially part of the Bottom Feeders League and ready to compete as actual Dungeon Runners. They’ll need more brawn and brains than ever, as they come up against the terrifying Crowgre and to make things harder, their fellow competitors aren’t all ready to play fair either.
Once again, this is a treat for youngsters who like their fantasy fiction fast, funny and fabulously illustrated. It’s not just the protagonists’ brains who are given a workout either, readers too are invited to solve riddles and tot up the points Triple Trouble score.
Action-packed, but with fully developed characters, humour and bags of invention - who wouldn’t love the zoan team, descended from jellyfish – this is a winning series for young readers.

About Kieran Larwood
Kieran Larwood was born in Kenya. He moved to the UK when he was 2 and lived in various places before settling on the Isle of Wight where he can still be found: exploring rockpools, climbing trees and writing - slowly disappearing behind a mountain of notebooks and empty coffee mugs. He taught Reception class in a primary school for fifteen years before becoming a full-time author.
Kieran’s books have won several awards, including the Blue Peter Best Story and the Prix Sorcières.
