LoveReading4Kids Says

It’s an ordinary day at school for friends Arun and Sam, until class rebel Donna informs them that there are plain clothes police at Arun’s house. Bunking off, the three check it out and a day of revelations for Arun follows: his dad is not the mild-mannered banker he seems, but the genius inventor behind MANDROID, a machine designed to be undetectable and run search and rescue operations, but which, in the wrong hands, could become an undetectable means of delivering weapons of mass destruction to an enemy’s capital.

When his dad is kidnapped, the three kids set out to rescue him and prevent his kidnappers from getting away with MANDROID too. They turn out to be a much more effective team than ‘the feds’ as Donna calls the forces of law and order, staying one step ahead of goodies and baddies alike through a combination of intelligence, quick-thinking, and simply being kids (who’s going to suspect three year 7s?) Set over the course of just 13 hours, the action is inventive and non-stop, full of car chases, shoot outs, explosions and a final death-defying escape that will have everyone hanging on to the edge of their seats. It’s great fun and just the first in a series that promises more explosive action.

One to recommend to fans of Alex Rider and the new Swift and Hawk Cyberspies.

If your dream is to be a spy then this is the book for you

Arun has an ordinary life until one day his father is kidnapped. No one knows what to do. So it’s up to Arun and his classmates-Donna and Sam- to figure out what the mysterious MANDROID is, save Arun’s father and …the entire world. All without getting caught.

This was a thrilling and entertaining book full of action and adventure. I was sat in suspense the entire book. I could not have enjoyed this funny story anymore.

I found myself getting quickly attached to the characters, especially Donna, who was awesome. Car chases, a dangerous weapon and a race against time.... Read Full Review

An amazing and suspenseful plot. Action packed adventure crime thriller with car chases, comedy and secrets. A truly grippping read.

This fabulous book is about a 12-year-old schoolchild called Arun who starts off ordinary at 7:55am. He soon finds out that his dad has been kidnapped and there might be no way of getting him back without destroying the world. So, with his best friend Sam and the mysterious Donna, they must go and save the world. This is not just any kidnapping; it is a test of loyalties, intelligence and physical strengths. What lengths the kidnappers may go to, to get what they want, no one knows.
I really enjoyed reading this gripping book; it was impossible to put down and time flew while I was reading. The plot was amazing and suspenseful. Their amazing, action-packed adventure not only had elements of comedy but it also was an awesome crime thriller! I would give this a rating of 11/10 or 6/5 in adventure, action, and crime.... A fast paced thriller which keeps you on your toes.

S.T.E.A.L.T.H. Access Denied is a fantastic thriller with a lot of action in it. It has a really fast moving plot. It didn’t take me long to read it.

Arun Lal’s dad is kidnapped by people wanting to steal a secret project that he has been working on. Arun, together with his best friend Sam and Donna, a classmate, have to rescue his Dad before the kidnappers can create a destructive global weapon.

It is a bit unrealistic at times. Why does Arun believe Donna at the beginning of the book? Why does he skip school because of what she says? They are hardly close friends. However, it is is a great and exciting read. I liked the bit where Arun phones his Mum, having disappeared to try and save his Dad.... Read Full Review
