LoveReading4Kids Says
Addressing us, the readers, directly, the author of this clever, interactive picture book promises to draw anything we can imagine, except tigers. He’s really bad at drawing tigers.
Cue pages and pages of tigers, drawn in a variety of different styles, and including a grown up’s imagined tiger with a coffee and briefcase. Finally, and with more help from readers, he creates a tiger he’s happy with. And then it’s our turn to have a go.
There’s a final exhortation to have fun drawing, and a very positive end note which explains how making bad pictures is a key part of making good ones. A book all about art and creativity, this is also a joy to read and its message is one we should all take to heart.

About
Don't Think of Tigers Synopsis
The narrator of this book will draw anything you want, but he can't draw tigers! Except trying to draw them might be the only way to get better...
This book is magical. Whatever you think of, the narrator will draw it on the next page. There's just one problem: they're really bad at drawing tigers. Hilariously bad. So please, don't think of tigers!
But of course, soon all you'll be able to think of is tigers . . . so the narrator will draw them, more and more ridiculous as they go: a tiger in a mermaid outfit, one carrying a coffee and a briefcase, some just plain awful. But with practice, will they get better?
Another brilliant, hilarious and interactive picture book by award-winning Alex Latimer which will help children learn that the only way to become a good drawer is to draw badly first.
