LoveReading4Kids Says
Tilly eats, drinks, sleeps pony, so being able to spend lots of time in the riding stables at Silver Shoe Farm is her dream come true. There’s excitement when a new pony arrives, the very pretty Parkview Pickle, a show pony.
It’s Pickle by name, pickle by nature though, as the new arrival doesn’t seem to respond very well to Cynthia, her owner’s, commands.
With her special pony understanding, Tilly works out a way to help pony and rider – she just needs to get Cynthia’s super-ambitious mother onside too.
Author Pippa Funnell knows, of course, all about the special trust that needs to exist between pony and rider, and every book in this series demonstrates it perfectly. Reading about Tilly and her adventures is the next best thing to owning a pony of your own
